This artwork was created in 2017 in the waning years of the Obama administration. The combination of AIR FORCE ONE and an active NASCAR race creates a surreal situation, teeming with security convoy jets, drones and racing car spin-outs. My original concept was to present military might and the newfound prevalence of “surveillance capitalism”.
This giant 4x5 foot canvas was exhibited in Seattle’s OUT OF SIGHT Art Fair in the summer of 2017.
